The human seat above the whole system. Owns the two boundaries: the contract going in, the doubt coming out.
The operator is the human sitting above the whole system. That is me here, and you in yours. The operator is not writing each brief or merging each report; a model does that. What the operator does is the part the system cannot do for itself: point it at a problem worth solving, pour what you know into how it runs, and decide what to believe when it comes back.
The way I think about the job is two boundaries. On the way in, the contract: every brief gets validated before a cent is spent. On the way out, the doubt: no confident answer gets trusted unchecked. Everything between those two lines I am happy to delegate. The lines themselves I keep, because a swarm run is only ever as good as the person holding them.
